Those are some great pic's but the one of me on the deck with Candy & Cherie Lee is awful!! UGH!!! I notice that Justin doesn't seem to smile in any of them. It's too bad that you & Alan and your families couldn't have stayed for a few more days. It had been so long since I had seen all of you. I really enjoyed seeing you all. Check your email for the recipe... LOVE YOU ALL, MOM
It sure was good to be with everyone. I think it really did make a difference having each other's support during this seemingly unbearable time. Shawn, there are answers to those questions and if you seek God for the answers the answers will come when He feels you are able to understand. Not all things are for us to know all at once. It is ok to have questions, just don't look for the answers from the wrong source. I love you all and hope that we can all start our plans soon. Are we thinking of summer of 2010? Let me know what is a date you all are thinking of and I will start checking with everyone here. BigSis
My life might not be the most exciting but it has been filled lots of joy! I grew up in a small town north of Pittsburgh, PA. Ford City was a good and safe place to grow up. Lots of factories and Pittsburgh Steelers!! I often wonder where I'd be if I stayed there to work and raise a family. This would not have been a bad thing, I think! After seeing all that I have and experiencing the things that I have it seems almost impossible to think that I could have stayed there. Some people spend their whole lives in these small towns. Some never even leave there state in fear of what is out there. Is the world flat?
I grew up in the 80's and it was a fun time! I wasn't the college type so I joined the military and went off to see the world. I was sent to Europe (Germany) for my first enlistment much to my chagrin. I served 10 years in the Army as a Military Policeman. I had a blast and traveled the world on the Governments dime! I’m now living in the Great Northwest and love it here. It is an awesome place to bring up a family. Lynden is another small town but is close enough to Bellingham for all the other necessities. Washington is a great state but I will always be a Steelers fan!
